The quote/invoice is inclusive of 4 weeks + additional 2 free weeks rental of the goods if required. Post which, a weekly charge of 15% of the initial cost will be applied. Once the acceptance of quote is received in writing or verbally (phone/ text/ email/ Xero etc) 100% of the quotation value is to be paid prior to staging. There is no refund/ deduction in price should the property sell beforehand. After 12 weeks of installation date, the original hire amount is to be paid again which will restart the whole contract. All fees payable by the client to IHS pursuant to this agreement are due in full prior to the start of the services.

A late payment fee of 5% will be charged for overdue accounts. If the overdue account is referred to a collection agency &/or law firm, the client will be liable for all costs incurred. Payment will not be accepted at settlement.

It is the property owner’s responsibility to ensure we are advised if an extension is not required. Should the furniture hire expire &/or the invoice remain unpaid &/or if the client fails to abide by any terms under this agreement, the furniture will be scheduled for removal & the agreement may be terminated without notice. The client shall ensure the property is accessible to IHS for the installation &/or removal of the furniture.

The IHS stock in the property is on a hire-for-display basis only, it is not for use & the client shall have no claim as to the ownership of them. IHS does not assume responsibility for any injury caused by using the display stock. The client accepts all liability for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged, lost, or stolen pieces of rented stock & agrees to reimburse IHS for the same.
Furniture must remain at the original delivery address & may only be re-located by IHS. The cost to relocate furniture is to be determined based on the distance between the property & the requirements, with a minimum base price of $650. If any stock items are moved without our knowledge or authorization, the entire hire charge will apply again. All IHS stock will be required to be removed prior to any work such as renovations, paintwork etc. is conducted.
Please ensure that you have adequate contents cover $10,000 minimum to protect the furniture in case of theft/damage. Landlords, please check your insurance cover.

Certain items of stock used by IHS will be heavy & may leave impressions, compressions, scuffs, or marks. Whilst IHS will use all reasonable endeavors to limit the same, the client acknowledges these are unavoidable & indemnifies IHS. IHS will install picture hooks where the artwork is required, these will remain in place after the removal.

IHS will use all reasonable endeavors to present the property in the best possible manner but cannot guarantee the property will sell faster or at the highest market value. IHS is not responsible for the outcome of any sale of the property. IHS reserves the right to choose furniture & décor that best suits the property & based on the stock availability. IHS will not replace/ remove any items based on the client’s preferences. IHS will not pay for any items purchased/ sourced/ moved by the client to the staged property.

Any dispute or difference between the client & IHS may be notified by a party to the other party & the parties shall first communicate to negotiate, in good faith, resolution of the dispute & if negotiation fails, both parties shall proceed with mediation, administered in accordance with procedures as set out by the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia. Provided that this provision shall not prevent IHS from instituting legal action at any time to recover monies owed by the client to IHS. These t’s & c’s are governed by the law of SA, the Client & IHS submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
